CSISAC at the 7th DGP Working Party meeting

On October 11th CSISAC participated in the 7th DGP Working Party meeting, represented by Valeria Milanes (Steering Committee member and Asociación por los Derechos Civiles (ADC) Executive Director) who is co-leading CSISAC’s work in the Data Governance and Privacy Working Party.
On a closed meeting, countries and UE delegations participated, as well as observers countries and multistakeholder observers, such as CSISAC, BIAC, TUAC and ITAC. Some of the topics addressed in this ocassion were: updating of the OECD Recommendation on Cross-Border Cooperation in the Enforcement of Laws Protecting Privacy; supporting documentation for the OECD Recommendation on Enhancing Access to and Sharing of Data; and new guidance implementation of the OECD Privacy Guidelines, current developments in Digital Safety by Design for Children and Privacy Enhancing Technologies.
